Forensic Management Academy

Contemporary business practices can improve the operation of your laboratory and this week-long training can teach you how to improve your lab's efficiency and your staff's capabilities. The instructors use a mix of interactive projects, case studies and lecture.

Tuition, lodging and most travel are free. Students are responsible for incidental expenses.

Who should attend: Forensic laboratory managers, law enforcement executives and aspiring forensic service providers who want to learn better business practices. Attendance is limited to 30 people.

Topics: Leadership, succession planning, team building, business skills, conflict resolution, cost benefit analysis, budgeting, motivation, strategy, and performance and project management.

The Forensic Management Academy is a collaboration between the West Virginia University College of Business and Economics Center for Executive Education and the National Institute of Justice.
